When you make The White House your home during your sojourn to Belfast, we will do all we can to insure a wonderful, unforgettable visit.

Overnight Accommodations Each guest chamber is decorated with period pieces and antiques; has its own private bath and air conditioning, and beckons sleep with fine Italian Frette bed linens.  All rooms are equipped with WIFI internet service, and plasma TV with cable and DVD player.  An eclectic selection of DVDs are available for your enjoyment. Also telephones are located in each room with local calls complimentary.
	BELFAST BAY - $250 Spacious corner room with a four-poster king-sized bed on the second floor. Custom designed pillows cascade over its Bates of Maine bedcover. The oversized bath has a combination tub/shower as well as a small fireplace with electric logs, adding to the ambiance. Crystal chandeliers in both the bedroom and bath add an elegant touch. As with all rooms, WIFI internet and plasma TV with DVD and cable are provided. Throughout the year, there are water views. This beautiful room is perfect to celebrate those special occasions.
	JAMES P. WHITE - $225 Very large corner room on the second floor featuring a queen-size four poster bed with beautiful canopy. This exquisite room with its European influence is named for the original owner. Wall sconces and a crystal chandelier enhance the old world ambiance. The bath has an enclosed shower. As with all rooms, WIFI internet and plasma TV with DVD and cable are provided. Magnificent vista of the estate grounds. Enjoy water views throughout the year.
	LONDONDERRY SUITE - $225 Stunning two-room suite on the second floor with queen-size bed. Beautifully decorated with warm shades of yellow. The high ceiling is graced with a silver and crystal chandelier, and allows the seven foot draped headboard to add to the very English ambiance of this room. This suite is perfect for extended stays.  When traveling with a third person, the guest steps down to the large sitting area with a twin bed.  As with all rooms, WIFI internet and plasma TV with DVD and cable are provided. A large private bath across the hall with a combination shower/tub adds to this suite.
	COPPER BEECH SUITE - $225 Beautiful two-room suite on the second floor with a custom designed, large Bombay mahogany canopy above the queen-size bed. The separate sitting area can easily accommodate a third person with its twin bed. The soft greens and bronzes of this room provide a relaxing and peaceful setting. As with all rooms, WIFI internet and plasma TV with DVD and cable are provided. The adjoining bath has a combination shower/tub and beautiful view of the botanical gardens and water pond.
	The Calvin Ryder Room - $195 Named after the architect of the house, this lovely room on the second floor has twin beds which can be connected to make a king bed (requires a two night minimum). The soft colors of rose and creams as well as the crocheted cameo bed linens compliment the antique furnishings of this charming room. The bath features an enclosed shower. As with all rooms, WIFI internet and plasma TV with DVD and cable are provided.
The Carriage House
	The Coastal Escape Room - $175 In the Carriage House on the ground floor for ultimate privacy and entrance through the gardens, this large room with queen bed bathed in siena and sea green colors captures the airy and light aura of the coast. As with all guest chambers, WiFi internet, plasma TV with DVD player and cable service are provided.
All rates published are for double occupancy and effective 15 January 2009. Rates are subject to change.

Amenities

• Individually decorated guest rooms with king or queen beds (twin beds are available in one room) are filled with a blend of antiques and reproduction furnishings. Luxurious bed linens from the Italian company Frette complete the setting.
• Private baths featuring the highest quality of personal care products by Gilchrist and Soames, hair dryers, and plush Egyptian cotton towels.
• Early morning coffee and tea are available at 7:30 A.M. in the dining room. A full gourmet breakfast is graciously presented beginning at 8:30 A.M. until 10 A.M.  We ask guests to provide any special dietary requirements at the time the reservation is made.
• Parlors, library, terrace, and gardens are for our guests' enjoyment. The library, with its comfortable furnishings, collection of reading materials and board games, is a favorite place for guests to gather.

Guest Room Rates

• Rates range from $175 to $250 per night and are based on double occupancy. Rates are not raised during peak season and there is no minimum stay. 
• Rates quoted do not include Maine State lodging tax of 7%.
• Triples add $40 to room rate per night.
• Stays of four nights or more are charged $10 less per night.

Arrival/Departure Times

Preferred check-in time is after 3 PM and prior to 8 PM unless special arrangements have been made.  Check-out time is 11:00  AM.

Guest Services

• Tour information and reservations made for dinner & attractions.
• Special occasions--let us know in advance so we can make arrangements to chill a bottle of wine or champagne, deliver a card or gift to the room, or prepare a special dessert for the celebration.
• Hearty box lunches to go with advanced notice.
• Ironing board & laundry service (charge for use of washer/dryer).
• Bike rental arrangements - storage provided for those who bring bikes.
• Board games
• Gift Certificates
• Special event and meeting rooms
• Reserve home or gardens for weddings, receptions, family reunions, and other special occasions.

Cancellation Policy

We do not require a deposit to secure reservations; we do require a credit card number with expiration date, name and security code. 

Should it become necessary to cancel your reservation, a $25 processing fee per room will be charged, provided we receive notice via e-mail to whitehouse@mainebb.com 14 days or more before your scheduled arrival date.

If cancellation occurs less than 14 days before your scheduled arrival date, the full cost of the reservation shall be charged only if we are unable to rebook the accommodations.  In the event we are able to rebook, only the $25 processing fee will be charged.
Cancellations occurring within 24 hours of your scheduled arrival, no–shows and early departures will be charged the full amount of the reservation. We are sorry but we are not able to offer refunds in the event of illness, emergency, inclement weather or any other circumstances that are beyond our control.

For your convenience, we accept American Express, VISA, MasterCard and Discover as well as cash, personal checks and traveler's checks.
